Beverly Jo Atkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly Jo Atkins (Paducah, Kentucky), who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgia Elizabeth Clampett Horner and John Patterson Horner; her grandson Seth Atkins; and her husband Harry (Harry). She is survived by: her children, Barry Atkins (Beth) of Springfield, MO and Becky Henson (Tandy) of Symsonia, KY; her grandchildren, Tannette Henson, Scott Henson (April), Christopher Atkins (Andrea), Rebecca Rothrock (Sam), Drew Atkins (Nicole) and Maggie Atkins; and her great grandchildren, Kheilenn Weitlauf, Brent Weitlauf Jr. (Ashley), Peyton Weitlauf, Blake Graham, Zachary Graham, Henry Rothrock, Emilie Rothrock, Nolan Atkins, Eleanor Atkins, Evelyn Rothrock, Kate Rothrock, Jack Rothrock, Cullen Atkins, Hudson Atkins, June Atkins and Ezra Atkins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hughes Funeral Home (2975 Old Husbands Rd, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of Beverly's life and love, expressions of sympathy can be sent in lieu of flowers as a charitable contribution to Symsonia Baptist Church Christmas Shoebox Fund, c/o Symsonia Baptist Church, 680 State Route 348 W, Symsonia, KY 42082, or Marshall County.
