Navada Marie Cook Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Navada Marie Cook of Owingsville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Purvis and Alta Phelps; her husband Mel Chester Cook; and her siblings, Lilburn, Hoyt, Edsell, Harold, Thomas Purvis, Nora Lee and Inella Purvis.
She is survived by: her nieces, Roni Langavin (Dean) of Fairfield and Sue Shrout (Gilbert) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; and her close friends, Jennifer Short, Danny McIntosh, Scottie and Rebecca Lucas. She is also survived by stepchildren, several. step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Home (121 E Main St, Owingsville, KY 40360). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
