It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Bussell of Owingsville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Purvis and Mary Emma Davis Purvis; her husband Bobby Bussell Sr.; and her siblings, Donnie Purvis, Charles Purvis, Robin Purvis, Frances McKinnley and Susie Sexton.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy James (Todd) and Bobby Bussell Jr. (Von); her siblings, Eddie Purvis (Laura), Mary Bostic, Jackie Bussell and Nola Campbell (Elmo); and her grandchildren, Kimberly Moore, Tyler Hatton, Ashley Copher, Taylor Hatton, Emma James, Cole James and Makenna James. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
