She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Otis and Ruby Everman Otis; her husband Roger Barber; and her siblings, Marjorie Otis, Sheila Otis Groves, Hawley Lee Otis, Elza "Tippy" Otis, Wayne Otis and Jimmy Otis.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Barber, Pamela Salazar (William), David Barber (Sheila) and Brent Barber; her grandchildren, Christopher Barber, Emily Barber, Nicholas Barber, Andrew Barber, Julian Salazar, Taylor Barber and Jacob Barber; her great grandchildren, Scarlett Tubbs, Sylvia Nelson and Emmit Nelson; her friend Phyllis Conyers; and her cousin Glenda Otis.
