He was predeceased by: his parents, John Adair Richards, Sr. and Madge Atchison Richards; his siblings, John Adair Richards, Jr., Jeff Richards, Morgan Richards and Betty Ruth Rawlings; and his nephew Jack Richards.
He is survived by: his sister Susan Richards Hicks of Owingsville; his sister-in-law Karen Richards; his goddaughter Joannah Richards; and his close friend Roseanna Walker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
