It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lauren Diane Pennington of Owingsville, Kentucky, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ruby Lamb Dutrow; and her son David Pennington. She is survived by: her husband John Pennington of Mt. Sterling; her daughter Diane Smith (Christopher) of Owingsville; her grandchildren, Candice Smith of Washington, Jennifer Smith of Wisconsin and Nicholas Pennington of Minnesota; her great grandchildren, Owen Imel and Cheyanna Fortmann; and her siblings, John Dutrow (Sandy) of Maryland, Joseph Dutrow (Gloria) of Maryland, Jean Martin (Ken) of Florida, Marian Spruill of Maryland and Mary Pennington of Maryland. She is also survived by her family and friends.
