He was predeceased by: his father Millard Edward Purvis; and his brother John Brent Purvis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Purvis; his daughters, Kerri Copher (Clifton Sparks) of Salt Lick and Kimberly Ray Draper (Jeff) of Lexington, Kentucky; his granddaughters, Isabella Copher and Ava Copher; his siblings, Gary Purvis (Elanor), Eddie Purvis (Cindy), Cheryl Fields of Owingsville, Laura Maze of Owingsville and Lisa Hiler of Owingsville; his mother-in-law Dorothy Ulery of Salt Lick; his sister-in-law Carol Caskey (Doug) of Winchester, Kentucky; his nieces and nephews, Tina Lucas (Donnie) of Owingsville, Karina Brashear (Blaine) of Lexington, Maryland, Monica Handy (Corey) of Shady Spring, Jason Purvis of Owingsville, Adam "Peanut" Purvis of Owingsville, Jared Purvis (Amanda) of Owingsville and Zachary Purvis (Ashley) of Stanton, Kentucky; his great-nephew Jacob Purvis (Maddie) of Owingsville; and his great-niece Whitley Purvis of Morehead. He is also survived by his family and friends.
