It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Lane Hardin (Owingsville, Kentucky), who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ike Hardin and Ella Faye Hardin; his former wife Roberta "Bertie" Hardin; his sister Beatrice Mae; his daughters, Kathy Lynn Hardin and Ella Jean Hardin; and his siblings, Albert "Ab" Hardin, Baby Boy Hardin, Bonnie Crouch, Pauline "Polly" Stephens and Wanda "Jean" Hardin.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Hardin; his daughters, Mary R. Mitchell and Stephanie Craycraft (Dodie); his siblings, Ike Hardin, Joe Hardin (Mary) and Martha "Marthie" Merkel; and his grandchildren, George Kelly Martin, Bryan Lee Mitchell (Victoria), Sheila Dawn Mitchell, Chelsea Rachelle Vairs (Jared), Jessica Vice, Dillon Vice, Katelyn Crouch, Brittany Pruitt, Tiffany Pruitt, Gabriel Nelson Martin of James and Allen Florence Jr.. He is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren.
