He is survived by: his wife Lydia Bristow Everman; his sons, John Russell Everman (Melissa) of Owingsville and Jamie Everman (Becky) of Owingsville; his grandchildren, Paige Everman and John Hunter Everman; his sister Nancye Garner of Owingsville; and his cousins, Ronnie Gudgell (Patsy) of Owingsville, Brenda Greer (Bernie) of Frankfort, Connie Johnson of Glenville, Donna, Denny Enyeart (Debbie) of Riverside, David Enyeart (Sabrina) of Goleta, Phill Everman (Ida) of North Vernon and Willie Vanlandingham (Emily) of Owingsville.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Owingsville Cemetery (129 Cemetary St, Owingsville, KY 40360).
