It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Barry Staton Sr. of Owingsville, Kentucky, born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Bill Staton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Emmons Staton; his sons, John Barry Staton Jr. (Emily) and Willie Staton (Krista); his grandsons, John Terry Staton and Charles "Brooks" Staton; and his brother Wes Staton of Owingsville.
