He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Donithan (Carolyn) and Catherine Claypool Herrington; and his mother-in-law Delores "Dopey" Morton. He is survived by: his wife Robin Donithan; his children, Greg Donithan (Angie) of Pikeville, Mark Coyle of Owingsville, Deanna Helton (Chris), Ashley Donithan (Michael), Autumn Donithan and Claudia Donithan of Owingsville; and his grandchildren, Blake, Dillon, Taylor, Addison, Shayleigh, Benjamin, Karson, Landen, Olivia, Rileigh, Hudson, Harlyn, Sarah, Asa, Wyatt and Jadyn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and an extended family.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael R Gray Funeral Home (89 Slate Ave, Owingsville, KY 40360). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
