He was predeceased by: his father Ronald James Herald; and his grandparents, Roy, Marie Herald, Gunnard and Phidora Johnson.

He is survived by: his daughter Natalia Herald; his mother Mary Abney (Jimmy); his brother Troy Herald (Tina); his aunt Chrystal Herald; his stepdaughter Aubree Thorpe; his stepmother Shirley Herald; and his stepsiblings, Johnny Abney (Dana), Charity Adkins (Brian) and Adam Adkins (Ebie). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
