With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Ray Ward of Owingsville, Kentucky, born in Troy, Ohio, who passed away on July 17, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Ray and Edwina Schaefer Ward; his son Theodore "Ted" Wayne Ward; and his brothers, Dan Ward, Mark Ward and Butch Ward.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Fraley (Michael) and Holly Davidson (Dave); his grandchildren, Dustin, Dawn, Chris, Megan, Cody, Tamaira, Sharla, Alex and Katie; his sister Carol Youngermen; his former wife Paulette Coates; and also, Eugenia Coates and Kelly Coates. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
