She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Sponsel and Bealuh McCarty; and her husband Rexal Short. She is survived by: her son Randall Lane Short. She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Owingsville Cemetery (134 Cemetery Street, Owingsville, KY 40360).
