He is survived by: his significant other Shella Sue Karrick Fugate; his son Ricky Lewis Fugate; his grandsons, Nathan Lewis Fugate (Julia Hutchinson) of Owingsville, KY., Clinton Wyatt Fugate (Savannah Carolyn) of Catlettsburg, KY and Braden Reed Fugate of Owingsville Ky; his great grandchildren, Adalind Grace, Caroline Wren and Willow Rose Fugate; his stepgrandchildren, Lilly and John Robert Staton of Owingsville, KY; his brother Clyde Fugate of Batavia Ohio; and his sister-in-law Pauline Karrick.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Home (121 E Main St, Owingsville, KY 40360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Owingsville Cemetery (134 Cemetery Street, Owingsville, KY 40360).
