He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancil Hood Sparks and Gladys Roberson Sparks; his wife Maggie Sparks; and his brother-in-law Omer D. Everman. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Anderson (David) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky., Teresa George (Randall) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky., Charles Sparks Jr. (Debbie) of Mt. Sterling and Sherman Sparks (Melinda) of Hillsboro, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Sarah Terry (Steve), Lora Sparks, Andrea Allen (Trevor), Jacob George, Josh George, Hollie Sparks, Daltons Sparks, Haley Bellamy and Viviana Anderson; his great grandchildren, Steven Terry IV and Elijah Wade; and his siblings, James Sparks, Dale Sparks (Nancy), Roger Sparks (Karen), Clifton Sparks (Judy), Faye Everman, Minnie Tuttle (Harold) and Joy Warren (Robin). He is also survived by his family and friends.
