He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Montjoy and Topa Hatton Montjoy; and his siblings, Edna Mae King, Jackie Montjoy, Mike Montjoy, Walter Montjoy and Jeff Montjoy.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Montjoy (Tonya) of Melbourne, Florida; his sisters, Ann Lykes (Danny) of Owingsville, Joretta Shirley (Don) of Hillsboro and Wilma Montjoy (Randall) of Owingsville; and his grandchildren, Chandler Montjoy and Elizabeth Montjoy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Home (121 E Main St, Owingsville, KY 40360). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Stull Cemetery E. Hwy.
