He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Burgess Shields; his children, Phillip Shields (Cindy) and Melanie Crouch (Rob Kirby) of Bethel; his siblings, Peggy Shields of Olympia and Wayne Shields (Patty) of Bethel; his grandchildren, Ben Crouch, Brianna Shields (Travis Keeton) and Brooklyn Shields; his great grandchild Mira Keeton; and his close friend Donald Dailey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
