She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas and Clara Fitzgerald Gaines. She is survived by: her pets, Bob and Brownie; her husband Floyd Stamper; and her cousins, Vernus Taylor, Georgia Locker, Larry, Darlene Dews, Tommy, Ann Dews, Clarence Dews, Jeannie Tingle, Margaret Tingle and Louise Brown.
