He was predeceased by: his parents, S. J. Taylor and Orpha Lee Hill Taylor; his son Samuel "Little Sam" Taylor; and his sister Shirley Swindall. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Bush Taylor; his in-laws, Wallace and Ann Bush; his sons, Joe Taylor of Milbrook, AL, Matt Taylor (Jenny) of Montgomery, AL, John Brian Ayres (Lisa) of Louisville, KY and James Phillip Keith (Mariah) of Owenton, KY; his grandchildren, Addison, Emersyn Ayres, Raylan, Ruth Ellen and Ripp Keith; and his siblings, Linda Black of Lake City, FL and Augusta Belle Previc of Gainesville, FL.. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
