He was predeceased by: his daughter Venessa Craigmyle Duke; his parents, John Suter Craigmyle and Ethel E. Craigmyle; his siblings, Elizabeth Ann Wilson and John Samford Craigmyle; and his son-in-law Richard Henry Duke.
He is survived by: his daughter Melody Craigmyle Taylor (Samuel); his wife Barbara Griffin Craigmyle; his daughter Stephanie Craigmyle; his grandson Branden Suter Duke (Leighanne); his great grandchildren, Molly Michelle Duke and Lola Venessa Duke; his granddaughter Laura Duke; and his sisters, Betty Sue Lusby and Ollie Dean Butcher.
In lieu of flowers or food, the family requests donations to help local Owen County children with literacy programs and nutritional assistance. Donations maybe made by check to Hope's Hands Inc.
