He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin O'Banion and Florence Wainscott O'Banion; and his siblings, David, Jesse, Mary and Annalou.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean Traylor O'Bannion; his daughters, Sherry O'Banion and Tina Olds; his grandchildren, Desiree Dunn, C. J. Thompson, Jalane Olds and Mayson Olds; his great grandchildren, Brantlee Hearn, Israel Thompson, Wyatt White, Bryson Olds, Oak-Lynn White, Harlan Scherder and Isiah Thompson; and his siblings, Clifford, Woody, James, Marvin, William, Melvin O'Banion and Betty Main. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the New Funeral Homes (202 N Main, Owenton, KY 40359). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
