It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ken Hanson of Owenton, Kentucky, born in Loretto, Tennessee, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Hanson and Charlcie Adair Hanson; his great grandchild Raylan Wheeler; and his siblings, Jackie Hanson and Peggy Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Smith Hanson; his sons, Joe Hanson (Cathy), James Hanson (Hannah) and John Paul Hanson (Melanie); his grandchildren, Sarah Wheeler (Brandon), Emily Mullen (Joel), Mussie Hanson, Benjamin Hanson (Emma), Molly Rowland (Cody), Emma Hanson, Mary Grace Hanson, Samuel Hanson, Hannah Hanson, Luke Hanson and Ella Hanson; his great grandchildren, Ben, Rylie, Teagan, Jonah and Myles; his sisters, Hilda Martin and Lounette Thompson; his children, Don, Amy Davis Ronnie and Burlison of Falkville; and his brother Roy. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
