She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Edward and Lillian Locke Leake; her son Mark Edward Dougherty; and her siblings, Dorothy Chandler and Roy Leake.

She is survived by: her husband David Dougherty; her niece Lisa Chandler Meadows; and her great-nephew Benjamin Meadows.

Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions are suggested to the Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
