It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Rose Dunavent of Owenton, Kentucky, born in Oneida, Tennessee, who passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Rose and Clara Keith Rose; her husband Glen Dunavent; her son Troy Marshall Hughett; and her siblings, Emma Reed (Carl), Claude Rose, Faye Jeffers (James), Lula Smith (Ronnie) and Louise Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Stacy Lilly (Jarrod), Bart Dunavent (Jan) and Kevin Dunavent; and her grandchildren, Clay, Kirk, Savannah Lilly, Andrew, Anthony, Aaron Dunavent, Ian and Olivia Viox. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
