He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hammond, Sr. and Climmie Rice Hammond; and his brothers, Albert Jr. and J. D. (Early). He is survived by: his fiancée Eartha Prather; his daughters, Lenny Stokes, Penny Whitaker, Amy Humphry (Charles), Fort and Angela Mann; his stepchildren, Kenneth Farley and Teresa Bell; and his sisters, Mary Swigert (R. C.) and Nellie Smith. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the St. Elizabeth Hospice Program.
