He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bartholomew and Berna Rattaman Colligan; his grandson Joe Nunnelley; and his siblings, Joseph, Jim, Bernadine and Patsy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wuest Colligan; his children, John Colligan (Sabrina Spaulding), Pat Colligan (Sam), Mary Jo Wainscott (Tony), Joe Colligan (Susan) and Tom Colligan (Dana); his grandchildren, Jason, Teresa, Charles, Stephanie, Karen, Bruce, Bridget, Michael, Abby and Lana; and his sister Maureen Endress. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
