He is survived by: his children, Jo Ann Berry, James Franklin "Peanut" Gaines, Robert Burke, Kim Brooks Vance and Danielle Betts Rogers; his grandchildren, Hunter, Kinsley of Paislee, PJ, Chris, Marcus and Leslie; and his mother-in-law Juanita Osborne.
