It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Wainscott of Owenton, Kentucky, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Wainscott and Laura Hughes Wainscott; and his brothers, Norman and James Wainscott. He is survived by: his wife Lois Sipple Wainscott; his children, Michael Lee Wainscott (Darlene) and Teresa "Kay" Banks (Steve); his grandchildren, Deborah Parker (Rodney), Michelle Dunavent (Brad), Teri Mason (Stephen), Jason Wainscott (Marlene) and Brian Stivers (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Kirsten Parker, Kaitlyn Parker, Luke Dunavent, Allen Mason, Lucy Dunavent and Levi Stivers; and his sister Margaret Deatherage.
Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to El Bethel Christian Church or Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospice. (https://www.bgcarenav.org).
