He is survived by: his son Andrew (Jenni) of Washington; his stepgrandson James Newman; his sisters, Antionette Walden and Deborah Combs; his cousin Jerry Lawson; and his aunt Edna Booker. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
