She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Riley and Ruth Brakefield (Fortner) of Virginia; and her husband Carl. She is survived by: her sister Jane Woodrum (Brakefield); her son Russell True McClanahan (Tammy); her granddaughters, Tiernan McClanahan and Delaney Vittitoe (Michael); her son Stan Lee Banks; her grandsons, Samuel Carl and Jonathan Louis; her son James Carl Banks (Juliann); and her granddaughters, Emma and Sarah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Beka's Toppers, the American Cancer Society, and the ALS Association.
