He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John C. Hedrick and Christine Jones Hedrick; his wife Joan Neal Hedrick; and his daughter Sally Anne Hedrick. He is survived by: his children, Grace Hedrick (Dalton Scroggins), Stephen Hedrick (Dixie) and Kristi Pruitt; his grandchildren, Sarah Hedrick, Ryan Watson (Amy) and Kaitlin Purvis (Jamey); and his pet Willy.
