He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Bishop Baker. He is survived by: his wife Betty Perkins Bishop; his son Barry Bishop (Brandie); and his great grandchildren, Logan Wagers and Ethan Young.

Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to South Fork Baptist Church or St. Elizabeth Hospice.
