He was predeceased by: his parents, Sim Lee and Lulia Wilhoite Smith; his son Justin Smith; and his siblings, Mae Walker, Charlotte Burke and SJ Smith.

He is survived by: his sons, Johnathon Smith and Jason Smith; and his siblings, Mary Bramblett, Harold Smith, Glenna Long, Ray Smith, Brenda Miller, Larry Smith and Judy Smith. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
