Bessie Bishop Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Bishop of Owenton, Kentucky, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Dezarn and Cleo Hyden Patrick; her husband Howard Bishop Jr.; her stepparents, Vivian Dezarn and Russel Patrick; her siblings, Charles Dezarn, Freddie Dezarn, Bertie Dezarn and Elmer Dezarn; her daughter Letha Lowe; and her grandson Drew Mason.

She is survived by: her children, Lucinda Wilhoite (Ricky), Randy Bishop and Luci Grubb (Steve); her grandchildren, Kendra Wilhoite, Brad Wilhoite (Cretia), Tim Hadden, Lauren Gilbert (Andrew), Logan Lowe (Emily), Lindsey Herndon (Tylor) and Michael Grubb; and her great grandchildren, Blake Gilbert, Carson Gilbert and Kash Wilhoite.

In lieu of flowers are suggested to the Drew Mason Memorial Scholarship Fund.
