He was predeceased by: his father Herbert McRoy; and his siblings, Leonard, Freeman, William and Agnes Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his sons, Mark McRoy (Cathy) of Elkton, Vance McRoy (Karen) of Masonville and Brad McRoy (Stacy) of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Haley Mattingly (Tucker), Daniel McRoy (Krystin), David McRoy, Hannah and Colten McRoy; his great grandchildren, Collin, Louis Mattingly, Judah and Eleanor McRoy; his stepgrandchildren, Scott Stokes (Ariel) and Jennifer Goebel (Chris); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lily and Noah Goebel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
