It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ries Gabbert Sr. (Owensboro, Kentucky), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 1, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rev. Roy and Louise Trathen Gabbert; his children, Pat McFarling of Owensboro and William "Chip" Gabbert, Jr. (Gail) of Springfield, Tennessee; his grandmother McSwain (Doug) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Lauren McSwain-Starrett (Bryan) and Kate McSwain; his great grandchildren, Caroline Starrett and Josie Starrett; and his son-in-law Steve McFarling.
