He was predeceased by: his father Murray Murphy; and his brother David Murphy. He is survived by: his parent Jean Murphy; his wife Kathy Boarman Murphy; his children, Katelyn Hawkinson (Nick), Madlyn Murphy, Christian and Will Murphy; his grandchildren, Konnor, Klara and Kolby Hawkinson; his siblings, Jim Murphy (Janet), Paul Murphy (Mitzi), Leo Murphy (Daphne), Rick Murphy (Gayle), Martha Warren, Dennis Murphy, Maggie Yeckering (Scott), Johnny Murphy (MariLou), Gary Murphy (Angie) and Jeanie Jones (Bo); and his sister-in-law Lee Ann Murphy.
