We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2025, at the age of 56, William Lee Kaelin of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Phillip "Jerry" Kaelin; and his siblings, Phillip Kaelin, Jr. and Karen Kaelin. He is survived by: his mother Stella Byrne Kaelin; his siblings, Jeanette Kaelin Goodwin, Mary Elizabeth Payne (David), David Kaelin and Amber Layson (Heath); his nieces and nephews, Lauren Goodwin Cleary (TJ), Natalie Goodwin, Megan Goodwin, Logan Kaelin (MaKaley Johnson), Nathan Payne, Kaelin Payne, Lucas Payne, Elizabeth Layson, Ruthie Layson and Zoe Layson; his great-niece Raelynn Kaelin; and his aunts and uncles, Connie McKay (Ron), Steve Byrne (Shelia), Joe Kaelin (Roxanne), Vickie Payne, Larry Kaelin (Norma), Ron Kaelin (Becky), Mike Kaelin (Kathy), Sheila Boone (Bill) and Darlene Mann (Terry). He is also survived by cousins, friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A prayer was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
