With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William H. Wemes of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 15, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur Wemes; and his sister Shirley Knight. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Wemes; his children, Joy Bridges (Lionel) of Owensboro and Gregg Wemes of Brandenburg; his grandchildren, Jasmine of Owensboro and Jordan James of Owensboro; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah of Owensboro, Charlotte of Owensboro and Abel Phillips of Owensboro; his sister Misha Byers (Norman) of Owensboro; his niece Betsey Eli of Owensboro; and his brother-in-law Jim Sympson of Hartford.
