He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Amos and Pearl May McDaniel; his wife Billie Jo Pierman McDaniel; and his siblings, Ellen Louise Embry, James O. McDaniel and Stanley M. McDaniel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Harva Jo Robin (Paul) and Kellie Feldman; and his grandchildren, Jacob T. Robin of Owensboro and Jenna N. Hulsey-Riley (Grayson) of Owensboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
