He was predeceased by: his parents, William Galen Sr. and Flora Lucille Acton; and his sister Pat Ware. He is survived by: his wife Linda Acton; his sons, Alan Acton (Karla) and Matthew Acton; his grandson Markus Acton (Cora Anderson); his niece LeeAnn Swift; and his great-niece Bailey Greathouse.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rosehill Cemetery (1300 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
