He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oliver and Mary Bernice Woodward Laney, Sr.; and his siblings, Carolyn Thompson and Johnny Laney. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Bumm Laney; his children, Angela (Morgan), Debbye McBroome and Danny Laney; his grandchildren, Blaine Laney, Wynter Blackwell, Viper Kincaid and Ivory Shaw; and his brothers, Bruce Alan Laney (Peggy) of Owensboro and Andy Laney (Cathy) of Owensboro.
