He is survived by: his wife Cathy Murphy Mattingly; his children, Dale Mattingly (Cristal) of Sacramento, Ryan Mattingly of St. Joe, Ginger Mattingly of St. Joe and Jason Mattingly (Laura) of Owensboro; his siblings, Kathy Evans (Bill), Sharon Bell (John), Judy Payne (Rick), Mike Mattingly (Cheryl) and Neil Mattingly (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Bryson, Hunter, Jase, Steve, Brayden Mattingly, Bailey Thomas, Kailee Dunn, Eli Dunn and Maria Ayala.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to St. Alphonsus Parrish Hall, Hospice of Western Kentucky, or the Diabetes Association.
