He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus T. Greenwell and Clemmie Sharp Greenwell; his wife Mary Louise Lanham Greenwell; and his brother Clifford Greenwell. He is survived by: his sons, Willard H. Greenwell, Jr. (Brandi) and Ricky A. Rice; and his grandchildren, Harold F. Greenwell, Brandon L. Greenwell, Nathan Rice (Candice), Carl W. Rice, Jr. (Brenda), Ronnie Rice (Francis) and Amanda Newton (Clint).
