He was predeceased by: his son David Posey; his brothers, Eldon Joe Brown and Benjamin Posey; and his parents, Helen Posey and Ben Posey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Posey; his children, Mary Lee Roark (Terry) of Owensboro, KY, Katricia Draeger (Rick) of Boonville, IN, Steve Posey (Terri Jo) of Owensboro, KY, Cynthia Bradshaw (Tim) of Maryville, TN and Martha Foster (JB) of Evansville, IN; and his grandchildren, Kevin Roark (Jessica), Angela Madej (Matt), Kristin Reed (Chris), Jordan Draeger (Amy), Nathan Posey, Audra Posey (Cameron Sitarek), Michael Bradshaw (Jamie), Jamie Pearson (Wayne) and Jessie Stinnett (Chad). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Warrick County Senior Citizens or St. Clement's Catholic Church.
