She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Shelton and Agnes Shelton (Davis); her husband Curtice Lee Newcom; her grandson Evan Keith Bridges; and her siblings, Mary Jane Shelton, James Shelton, Edward Shelton, William Franklin Shelton, Charles Shelton, Dorthy Bradley and Larry Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Curt Newcom (Lisa) and Lisa Neel (Leason); her granddaughters, Jade Bridges of Owensboro and Abby Nyquist (Austin) of Florida; and her great grandchildren, Jasmine Bridges, Noah Hale, Rhodes Nyquist, Oliver Bridges and Wells Nyquist.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that sympathies be expressed as donations to the Salvation Army.
