It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Bates of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Sacramento, Kentucky, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethia Mae Forbes and Lonis Frailley; her husband J. T. Bates; and her siblings, Mary Verda Donovan, Charles Frailley, Lonie Frailley and James Frailley.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Bates (Debra) of Owensboro and Daryl Bates (Jackie) of Sacramento; her grandchildren, Mark Bates (Micky), Trent Bates (Heather), Kerri Holder (Chad), Chris Bates (Allison), Shane Bates (Molly), Emily Strobo (Randy) and Whitney Williams; and her sister Judy Martin (Mike) of Bowling Green. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
