He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter R., Sr. and Maggie Wedding Mayes; his wife Susan Vittitow Mayes; his daughter Amy Adams (Felton) of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Hallie Adams and Hunter Adams of Bowling Green; and his siblings-in-law, Diane and Jim Stuckert of Louisville. He was also cherished by his wife, his daughter, his grandchildren, and granddogs.
