Though Virginia Lee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Virginia Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Towe and Mary Towe; her husband William Hornsby; and her sons, Donald Hornsby and Kevin Hornsby.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gray, Ronald Hornsby and James Hornsby. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rosehill Cemetery (1321 Rose Hill Dr, Owensboro, KY 42303).
